Volkswagen Beetle 1.4TSI Now On Sale At RM179,888.00
Volkswagen has just launched an extension of the engine range for The Beetle with the 1.4 TSI joining the product portfolio in Malaysia. The Beetle 1.4 TSI is equipped with Volkswagen’s award winning 1.4-litre engine that boasts 160PS, and 240Nm of torque. Adding to the fun driving experience, the engine emits combined output of 143g/km of CO2 and consuming a combined fuel efficiency of 6.2 litres/100km. This engine comes equipped with Volkswagen’s 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG). The Beetle 1.4 TSI can reach 100kph in 10 seconds, with a top speed of 207kph. The Beetle 1.4 TSI features ‘Spin’ 17-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. The mirror housings come coated in black. The car comes equipped with aluminium pedal clusters, ambient lighting inside, gearshift know wrapped in leather and the car’s XDS Extended Electronic Differential Lock.
The 1.4 TSI comes with Volkswagen’s coloured touchscreen audio system, the RCD510, an integrated 6-disc CD changer with an interface for SD cards slot and iPod adapter. This system comes with 8 speakers. The dashboard has been given a unique touch. It has the form and colour of the front facia (dash pad) in Piano black. Additionally the 1.4 TSI comes with Vienna leather-trimmed seats, cruise control, 4 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and the Climatronic air-conditioning system. There will be 6 colours; Tornado Red, Saturn Yellow, Reflex Silver, Deep Black, Reef Blue and Candy White. The Beetle 1.4 TSI is priced at RM179,888.
