Proton Perdana For Kedah and Perak Chief’s
The state governments of Kedah and Perak have just received a fleet of the new Proton Perdana cars during a handover ceremony at the respective state government offices.
Chief Minister of Kedah, Y.A.B. Dato’ Paduka Mukhriz Bin Tun Dr. Mahathir and Chief Minister of Perak, Dato’ Seri Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir were on hand to receive the new cars from representatives of DRB-HICOM Berhad and PROTON Holdings Berhad.
Prior to the handover, the new Perdana has also been presented to the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, as well as several other government officials, including the Chief Secretary of Government and the Minister of Education II.
PROTON would like to reiterate it appreciates the faith shown by the Prime Minister and the Malaysian Government, and for giving the national car company the opportunity to be the provider of the official Government vehicles. The opportunity supports PROTON’s turnaround plan and future growth in realizing its true potential to becoming a globally competitive automotive manufacturer.
