0Ferrari 3-liter Supercar On Its Way
Ferrari is planning an entry-level sports car powered by a new 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. This small engine will be developed especially for markets such as China and of course ASEAN, where an under 3.0-liter engine has serious tax advantages. The total output developed by the new 2.9-liter V6 is expected to be around 500 hp and almost 600 Nm of torque. The engine might actually be the current 3-liter V6 sitting in the very popular Maserati Ghibli in a different tune. The Ghibli V6 is produced by Ferrari and has all the Ferrari engineering attributes This new supercar will come hot on the heels of Mclaren’s new small engine supercar which is already in the pipeline.
