Indian Motorcycles Releases The ‘Scout’

This is the new Indian Motorcycle, ‘Scout’. It takes things even further into the future for the Indian motorcycle company. Like its iconic forerunner, the all-new Indian Scout is an innovative and aesthetically stunning American cruiser. It introduces the first-ever liquid-cooled Indian Motorcycle engine – an efficient and reliable 69 cubic inch V-twin for impressive power on demand. This new model carries the legendary Indian Scout name into the future in authentic Indian Motorcycle style.

LA Indian MY15 PR shoot May, 2014

The engine is an 1133cc DOHC unit, capable of producing 100 horsepower, and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. With the Scout’s iconic image replicated in the new machine, the no-bling, no-frills architecture translates in a much lighter bike than the new Chiefs, and this makes the 2015 Scout a blast to ride.

Indian claims unprecedented handling even through turns and better leaning angles than anything it ever built. The Scout was introduced in 1920, quickly becoming very popular among racers, stuntmen and land speed record chasers. We’re not sure whether Polaris and Indian thought about the Bonneville Salt Flats and riding the wall of death once more, but the bike looks like it could do well, with some modifications.

Once this solo machine arrives at the Indian Motorcycle flagship showroom in Glenmarie, Shah Alam we will have the local selling price for you.
