ABT AS5 ‘The Dark Model’ Presented
Available as a Coupe or Sportback, the AS5 Dark takes the Audi A5 to the next level and as expected it arrives with plenty of aerodynamic elements. The new vehicle gets a new front spoiler lop, side sills, a rear spoiler, a rear skirt set, an ABT ‘Dark’ decal set and the ABT ‘Dark’ emblem set.
The exterior design is completed by the 20-inch CR-Design wheels wrapped in high performance tyres. The AS5 Dark was brought closer to the ground thanks to new ABT spacers, while the new rear muffler with four end pipes (black-chromed) provides a better sound of the engine. The interior offers new ABT ‘Dark’ floor mats and emblems at the headrests.
There are no details regarding any engine upgrades, but we do know that the standard vehicle is offered with the 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine that produces 211 hp as well as with the bigger 3.0-liter TFSI delivering 272 hp. For diesel fans, the Audi A5 comes with the 2.0-liter TDI engine with 177 hp and with the 3.0-liter TDI that generates 245 hp.
