Audi Shows The 2015 TT Roadster
Thanks to parts made out of magnesium, aluminum, steel and plastic, the soft top of the all new TT Roadster has a weight of just 39 kg. The all new 2015 TTS Roadster gets as standard the driving dynamics system Audi drive select, which allows the driver to adjust the engine sound. Audi offers the TTS Roadster several exterior colours such as Panther black and Sepang blue, while the interior is available in black, rock gray, palomino brown and red.
The interior gets the next-generation digital instrument cluster that replaces the analog instruments as well as the MMI monitor. The vehicle features a big 12.3-inch display and besides the tachograph and rev counter, there is also an infotainment mode that focuses on theme such as the navigation map. In addition there is a third theme that is focused on the rev counter.TTS Roadster is equipped with 2.0-liter TFSI engine that produces 310hp and 380Nm of torque.
With these numbers, the TTS Roadster is able to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 250km/h which puts it near supercar numbers.
The 2.0-liter TFSI engine is available with a manual six-speed transmission, while as an option the model gets the six-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. Power is delivered to the road via the standard Quattro permanent all-wheel drive and the 18-inch wheels wrapped in 245/40 tyres.
Behind the wheels we find newly developed aluminum fixed-caliper brakes on the front axle As you can see from the photos, the TTS Roadster features an electrically actuated fabric top, which is 3kg lighter than the predecessor.
