Casio PRO TREK 20th Anniversary Watch Revealed
Casio celebrates the 20th Anniversary of its PRO TREK series of timepieces with the launch of its new PRW6000Y. The digital/analog combination model with Triple Sensor Version 3 technology provides users with the ultimate utility watch for outdoor activities.

Not only can it perceive changes in Mother Nature’s moods, it also provides users with a range of useful features that embrace the great outdoors in a ‘go anywhere, do anything’ design.”
The PRO TREK PRW6000Y features Casio’s Triple Sensor Version 3 technology, which has a downsized direction sensor and pressure sensor for compass and altimeter/barometer readings.
The benefit of the downsized sensor means it takes up only 5 percent of the space of the previous sensor and consumes only 10 percent of the energy, improving the resolution and frequency of altitude readings from 5m to 1m increments and from 5 seconds to 1 second respectively. This coupled with an increase in continuous compass measurements from 20 seconds to 60 seconds improves the accuracy and speed with which these features monitor nature’s elements and how they are utilized for high energy activities across the board. Along with a thermometer, the PRW6000Y also has an atmospheric pressure trend alarm that gives a notification in response to sudden swings in atmospheric pressure, to keep users constantly informed of the onset of rapidly changing weather conditions, which might otherwise be overlooked.
