Volkswagen’s GTI Supersport Teased
Images as well as a video of Volkswagen’s GTI Supersport, Vision Gran Turismo has been released teasing the new car’s huge carbon fibre splitter, flared wheel arches and rear wing. The GTI Supersport will be coming to the popular Gran Turismo video game franchise which is now in its 6th generation.
The car is the spiritual successor to 2014’s GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo, but this year we’re getting a 3-door hatchback with an exceptionally wide body kit. Carbon fibre is extensively featured throughout, being used even on the rear diffuser.
LED headlights and daytime running lights in rectangular shapes covr shape the front end of the car, giving it an aggressive look, but it bears the Volkswagen family resemblance.
The car will be revealed at the Wörthersee show in Austria, ahead of its digital debut on the Playstation 4. Expect a motor as powerful as, or perhaps more powerful than the 504 hp engine featured on last year’s GTI Roadster.
