Perodua offers assistance to customers whose cars were damaged by quake

In an effort to ease the burden of Perodua customers in Sabah who have been affected by the recent earthquake, the compact car company is offering to assist by way of a free inspection, towing assist as well as discounts on selected parts.

“Our hopes and prayers are with the people of Sabah during this trying times and our condolences to the victims’ families,” Perodua President & CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

The assistance by Perodua is following an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale that hit Sabah on Friday.

“We sympathise with those affected and we wish to contribute to those recovering from this disaster,” Aminar said.

On the assistance given, Aminar said that Perodua will reimburse towing fees up to RM100 (one hundred ringgit Malaysia only) to the nearest authorised Perodua Service outlet for inspection and repairs. In addition, Perodua is also offering a 20% discount on selected genuine parts to Perodua owners whose vehicles were damaged by the earthquake. (Terms and Conditions apply).
