Chevrolet opens new parts centre in Shah Alam
Parts centres are critical to the upkeep of cars, and for the convenience of customers. Without a local accessible parts centre, getting spare parts that aren’t stocked on hand in a service centre can be very tedious and time consuming, forcing the customer to leave their vehicle for a few days if the component is critical. Companies that have localized parts centres tend to have better customer satisfaction, as their work can be carried out quickly and efficiently.
NAZA Quest Sdn Bhd marks another milestone with their brand new Parts Centre here in Shah Alam. Located at the Chevrolet Malaysia headquarters with a space of 10,000 sq ft, NAZA Quest will hold up to more than RM5.5 Million worth of Chevrolet spare parts in stock comprising over 55 thousand line items.
The parts centre will cater to all existing Chevrolet owners in the country which amount around 24,000 units as at end 2014. The new parts centre is expected to shorten delivery time of parts to all Chevrolet 3S centres and spare part dealers nationwide. With an increase in sales expected for 2015 and beyond, the centre will be able to address the concern of parts availability which will lead to greater customer confidence in the Chevrolet brand.
The parts centre is also expected to carry additional parts in the coming months as NAZA Quest seek to introduce more models to enhance its current models line up in Malaysia. Existing models sold are the Sonic 1.6, Cruze 1.8, Malibu 2.4, the Colorado 2.8 pick-up and also the Orlando 1.8 MPV.
