Student Wins VW Beetle in KenTrade Trading Challenge
Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad completed its KenTrade Trading Challenge II today after hosting an intensive four hour Face Off Challenge at the Bursa Malaysia Listing Gallery.
Mr Sim Yu Chin (19), from the student category was announced the grand winner of the Face Off Challenge winning a brand new Volkswagen Beetle 1.2 TSI worth RM135,888.00, sponsored by Volkswagen Malaysia.
Supported by Bursa Malaysia Berhad, the KenTrade Trading Challenge was designed to simulate real life trading and was based on real time market data from the local bourse. It was initiated via Kenanga Investment Bank’s online trading portal KenTrade in efforts to continuously create awareness and education on share trading and the market.
The original Beetle was first unveiled here in Malaysia in the 1950s, quickly becoming a cult favourite and an icon. Today, after more than half a century of bringing happiness and creating memories for Malaysians, the Beetle has evolved to suit modern needs but still remains an icon of popular culture among the people.
