Glycine AIRMAN AIRFIGHTER
The Airman AIRFIGHTER is a genuine pilot’s watch with three individual time zones crafted by traditional watchmaker Glycine. The second time zone sits elegantly on the luminous internal bezel with dynamic GMT hand with white triangle pointer indicating the time in the 24-hour zone. The hand can be easily operated and moved by turning the central crown. The third time zone is operated by the Airman’s signature 24-hour rotating bezel by simply turning the bezel after first releasing the catch by turning the lower crown.
The stage for the perfect orchestration of the three time zones is set by the precision-crafted dial which is in total harmony with the perfectly coordinated hands. A sapphire glass with anti-reflective scratch-resistant coating on both sides protects the watch, keeping it in optimum condition for precision readings in all three time zones.
The watch is set in an imposing 46mm case made with painstaking attention to detail and a chronograph mechanism operated in a revolutionary way with a push-piece to the left ideally situated for operation with the thumb of the right hand. The final flourish comes in the high-quality leather strap which guarantees maximum comfort and is supplied with an ergonomically designed folding clasp.
The Airman AIRFIGHTER is kept in time by a highly acclaimed GL 754-calibre automatic movement (ETA specification). The virtuoso piece is the beautiful aircraft skeleton on the oscillating weight of the movement which will set hearts racing among watch aficionados. This exclusive timepiece comes with a choice of two different bezels: stainless steel or black PVD finish. Collectors will also want one of the 101 Airfighters available in a strictly limited edition in 18ct gold.
