Weststar Maxus Launched G10 – The Most Affordable People Mover
Remember the days of getting into a tight squeeze in a car whenever the family took an out-of-town trip or went shopping?
Those jam-packed days will be a faded memory when Weststar Maxus launches the G10, a 10-seater people mover. The stylish vehicle, designed for ample cabin space and flexible seating, makes it the ideal family transport – and it comes with an affordable RM139,888 on-the-road price tag.
The G10, billed as a versatile family vehicle, is powered by a 2.0 litre TGI engine with 225 horsepower and 345m torque for maximum output. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual code to ensure a high-powered and responsive driving experience.
The Torino designed vehicle comes equipped with full leather seats and safety features that fulfill the European MPV passive safety standards. The safety kit includes dual airbags and ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution as well as Electronic Stability Control.
The G10 is available in three striking colours: Champagne Gold, Blanc White, and Obsidian Black. The vehicle has a three-year warranty with an additional bonus of one year free service.
According to Tan Sri Syed, plans are afoot to commence CKD operations by September this year and export G10 vehicles to ASEAN countries by 2017.
Weststar Maxus, part of the Weststar Group, secured the Maxus sole distribution rights for the Asia-Pacific region from SAIC. The company currently has 15 sales distributors and a network of 32 service centres nationwide. Weststar Maxus was awarded “the Most Outstanding Distributorship” from SAIC in conjunction with the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition in 2013.
