Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Reports 68% Sales Up in March 2016

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia reported sales growth for the month of March 2016, which grew 68% from the previous month to 1,173 units. In February, the company’s sales were 696 units.

The strong performance was partly due to overall company’s momentum, driven largely by a surge of sales for the all-new Triton pick-up which went up 67% to 716 units compared to the corresponding month of February of 429 units. The all-new Triton recorded the second highest sales in the pick-up segment for the month of March.

The all-new Mitsubishi Outlander SUV has received over 300 bookings ahead of MMM sales target of 100 units per month since its media preview a month ago. The 7-seater SUV officially launched earlier this month is now available at Mitsubishi showrooms nationwide.
