Haval H2 Makes Malaysian Debut – Priced From RM89,950
Following the encouraging response of the M4 that was launched last year, Go Auto, Malaysia’s sole distributor of Haval cars, is set to capture a bigger slice of the local SUV market this year with the introduction of Haval H2.
Go Auto Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Azam Dato’ Sulaiman said the company is indeed excited to bring in the H2 model, which serves as an upgraded version of the M4. While the M4 is targeted towards single young professionals who are in their mid to late 20s, the H2 is suitable for the slightly more mature and affluent market segment, between 30 and above and young families.
The H2 comes with attractive features including electronic parking brake, electric folding side mirrors with integrated puddle lamps, a sunroof, six way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, 3.5-inch TFT color display trip computer and a multifunction steering wheel. A touch screen infotainment unit and dual-zone automatic air-conditioning are fitted as well.
The SUV equipped with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a power output of 147 hp at 5,600 rpm and 210 Nm of maximum torque from 220 to 4,500 rpm. Power is channeled to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.
The H2 is equipped with Blind Spot Visual System on the front left hand side, stylish headlamp with daytime running lights, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as well as anti-glare rear view mirror. Its safety features include six airbags (front passenger and driver, side curtain, front sides), Electronic Stability Program, and ABS.
Priced from RM89,950 per unit, the Haval H2 is said to be among the most competitively priced SUV in the market.
