Audi Q6 Production Confirmed

Audi has a factory in Brussels and this is where the all new Q6 SUV will be built. This will be the first battery-electric SUV having the Audi e-tron quattro concept study, which was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015.

The concept’s reveal was a clear sign that Audi wanted to show that big off-roaders can rely on electricity even more than you might think.

The Q6 will be powered by three electric motors that provided a total output of 429hp, or 496hp when boost is activated. Thanks to its 800Nm of torque, the Q6 will be able to sprint from a standstill 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds and have a top speed of 210km/h.

The car will also feature a 95-kWh battery pack, which Audi says that a 150-kW DC fast charger can fill up in around 50 minutes. More information will be shared closer to launch.
