Happy Birthday Euro NCAP
20 years ago, yesterday, the Euro NCAP’s first crash test results was handed out and this heralded a new era in automotive safety, and yet despite massive advances in safety tech, we humans continue to crash our cars and have airbags killing drivers.
The first seven cars in that test were all popular British superminis: The Ford Fiesta, VW Polo, Fiat Punto, Nissan Micra, Vauxhall Corsa, Renault Clio and the Rover 100.
