Mitsubishi has a 1.5L MPV coming to challenge the Honda BR-V

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has an all-new MPV on its way. This compact MPV will be produced at the company’s new Indonesian factory in Bekasi, West Java Province and it will be launched on the Indonesian market in the 3rd quarter of 2017. Its name will be announced very soon.

This all new Next-Generation MPV combines the best of both SUV and MPV worlds: ruggedness and roominess, character and convenience, style and function, all in a bold design that could impress ASEAN buyers.

This new MPV is built for ASEAN’s most demanding small MPV owners. Up to seven occupants will travel in comfort, with generous room for luggage or cargo, all at a very competitive price.

MMC’s new Next-Generation MPV delivers class-topping roominess and utility through its highly variable interior, with easy access to comfortable third-row seats, along with a spacious luggage compartment, all in the spirit of Japanese monozukuri fine craftsmanship.

Powered by a 1.5L engine with an automatic transmission, this new MPV will prove itself as a dependable hill climber, even with 7 adults on board. Looks like the Honda BR-V and the Toyota Sienta has a competitor on its way and it might just be a great income earner for Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.
