Unparalleled, user-friendly 4×4 technology

The new Renault Koleos’ ALL MODE 4×4-i technology has already proven its capability in thousands of Renault-Nissan Alliance vehicles around the world. It allows drivers   to switch between 4×2 and 4×4 driving modes. It comes with the choice between 3 modes: 2WD (Front wheel drive), 4WD Auto, 4WD Lock. Suitable for various road conditions be it for off-road, highways travel etc.

In 4WD Auto mode, the ALL-MODE 4×4-i technology permanently monitors grip levels to ensure optimal traction for more dynamic performance, greater stability and enhanced safety. Based on this information, the system calculates the ideal front/rear torque split (from 100/0 to 50/50) to provide the most efficient grip possible to eliminate understeer and oversteer.

When travelling off-road or in conditions where grip is at a premium, such as on mud and sand, the 4WD Lock mode allows the driver to engage permanent four-wheel drive at speeds of less than 40km/h to distribute available torque equally between the front and rear axles (50/50) for maximum stability.

However, to adapt to the varying requirements of the market, a two-wheel drive version of the Koleos is also available.

To know about this new 4×4 Koleos SUV, please visit or any one of its many showrooms nationwide and take this new Koleos 4×4 for a test drive to experience this 4×4 technology for yourself.
