Aston Martin ‘Varekai’ SUV, Not An Indian Name

News just in about Aston Martin’s upcoming SUV. The current concept name “DBX,” will not remain. The premium sports car manufacturer has earmarked the name Varekai for it, which would certainly tie in nicely with the company’s earlier V-named products.

The word Varekai is however not of Indian or Asian origin and instead it comes from the Romani language, meaning “wherever,” which is what is needed for this go-anywhere SUV. Aston Martin management has applied to trademark for the name Varekai but they would not comment on the name’s authenticity as yet.
