Omega Speedmaster CK2998…perfect christmas gift!
This watch is based on the original CK2998 reference and is one of the most sought-after worldwide. This Omega revives the model that was introduced in 1959 and is the 2nd generation Speedmaster. It was in production up to 1962 and succeeded by the 105.002 and 105.003. This limited edition Omega Speedmaster CK2998 Pulsometer is limited to 2998 pieces, world wide.
The watch’s black subdial and white (sand-blasted rhodium-plated) dial combo is paired with a black/white minute track and black pulsometer bezel.
The original model has become one of the most sought-after vintage Speedmasters for collectors worldwide. This particular watch was also the “first OMEGA in space” when in 1962, astronaut Walter “Wally” Schirra made history during the Sigma 7 mission of the Mercury programme while wearing his own personal Speedmaster CK 2998.
