Hyundai Tucson N-Line Looks Properly Agressive

The Hyundai Tucson is already a pretty good looking car. But now the facelifted version is getting the ‘N Line’ treatment.

For those unaware, ‘N’ is Hyundai’s Motorsports division. Why ‘N’? Something to do with these cars being born in Namyang and honed on the Nürburgring. In any case, ‘N Line’ adds a touch of performance to go with an aesthetic upgrade.

What’s new Visually

The Tucson N-Line gets redesigned bumpers, a dark mesh-pattern grille with dark chrome-finished frame. The dark theme continues on the 19″ alloy wheels, side mirror housings, rear spoiler, headlamp bezels, window frames and more. Even the LED DRL get their own unique N-Line pattern.

What’s new in terms of Performance

This isn’t a full performance upgrade. The engines are similar to what you might find on a high-spec Tucson. A 2-litre CRDi 48V mild hybrid diesel or 1.6-litre T-GDI petrol engine are options. They’ve tuned the motor-driven power steering and adjusted the suspension so it’s 5-8% more rigid than on the standard model.
