AUDI ‘RS5 Coupé’ Sneak Peek
With an engine developed specifically forthe second generation RS models, the next generation RS5 will have an enhancedTFSI bi-turbo engine that produces 450hp with 600Nm of torque.
This will allow the new R5 to accelerate from0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds and onward to a top speed of 250km/h.
The speed of this new AUDI RS5 coupé isaided by its drastic weight reduction of 60kg has been shaved off from thepredecessor giving a new weight of just 1655kg. This weight reduces further ifthe optional carbon fiber roof is selected.
The 8-speed tiptronic transmission hasoptimized shift times and delivers output through the quattro permanentall-wheel drive, where distribution is shared between the axles at a ratio of40:60. furthermore, with a revised five-link construction for both the frontand rear suspensions, the coupé promises a sporty performance with agility anddynamic handling.
This RS5’s front end is dominated by agradually sloping bonnet with distinct grooves, above the wide and flatsingleframe radiator grille. On either side of this, massive air inlets withthe typically AUDI honeycomb structure sit close to the ground, delivering avery powerful stance.
Above these are additional lateral airintakes and outlets, as well as the matrix LED headlights. with 74mm extra inlength than previously, the side silhouette directs attention to the front andback with pronounced wheel arch bulges and clean body work. at the rear, thesports coupé is completed with a RS-specific diffuser insert, oval exhausttailpipes and a surface-mounted spoiler lip.

Inside you will be greeted by alcantaraleather-clad RS sports seats and flat-bottomed RS multifunction sport steeringwheel. You will also get a sporty carbon fibre dashboard and console trim, whichensures an interior of extreme quality.
