Alfa Romeo Racing teams up with IVECO
IVECOteams with Alfa Romeo Racing
IVECO has announced it is now the officialtruck partner for Formula One Championship team, Alfa Romeo Racing.
The truck company recently marked theoccasion with an official ceremony in Hinwil, Switzerland, following thedelivery of 13 IVECO vehicles to the team – 12 Stralis trucks and one Dailyvan.
The event was attended by Axel Kruse, COOof Sauber Motorsport AG, and Thomas Rücker, Business Director of IVECO Schweiz(Switzerland).
The vehicles will now be charged withtransporting the team’s equipment to all the European F1 fixtures throughoutthe remainder of the season.

Thomas Rücker, Business Director of IVECOSchweiz, said the partnership brought multiple layers of benefit.
“We are proud to be entering into thispartnership with Alfa Romeo Racing and provide transportation for the team’sequipment,” he said.
“IVECO has a long tradition ofpartnerships and participation in the world of sports, and in particularracing, where our trucks can be seen competing in the Dakar Rally and the FIAEuropean Truck Racing Championship.
“We look forward to the new racingseason and wish Alfa Romeo Racing success.”

Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal, AlfaRomeo Racing, and CEO Sauber Motorsport AG, concurred.
