Autophiles Review the C300, C43 and C63!

Our affiliated channel Autophiles has been producing C-Class review after C-Class review. It’s almost like we’re clearing stock at this point!

Each of these reviews were shot at very different times from each other. The most recently shot one was this C300 Facelift review in late 2018. This was the first of the C-Class sedan reviews to be released.

Mercedes-AMG C63 S Edition 1 Review

The C300 is the top-of-the-line C-Class (before stepping into AMG territory). You get great Burmester speakers, a huge sunroof, AIRMATIC suspension and a great sounding engine. But we still had a few gripes with it

This car also has its own Sights & Sounds video up, which you can find at the bottom of this page.

During editing we realised that the other C-Class sedan reviews were unpublished. Sure we did written reviews of the C63 and pre-facelift C43 on the website before, but the videos weren’t out at the time.

So that’s where these other two reviews come in. Enjoy our take on the monstrously powerful C63 S Edition 1.

And we hope you like the C43 4MATIC review as much as we liked the car itself.

Do note however that the C63 S Edition 1 is no longer on sale. A facelifted replacement has been announced on the global site. We’re not sure when it will be launched here, but we don’t doubt the spirit of the C63 will be largely unchanged. The thing is way too powerful for the average Joe to handle.

The Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC, on the other hand, was replaced by a facelifted version shortly after our test drive. It’s still the same 3-litre biturbo V6, but many things have changed, including the price tag.

Both of these AMG cars should start to show up on the used market, if you’re still interested. Mercedes-Benz also has a pre-owned programme that gives you a good warranty too.
