This is a picture of the first ever Mitsubishi L200 is one of the most successful and long lasting models of Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi. Some units are still running around the country, probably in the small towns and with the logo missing.
It was first manufactured in 1978 as the first SUV brought by the company on the market and is still in production today. During this period, the Mitsubishi L 200 underwent numerous changes, as reflected in various model series.
Since being introduced in 1978 the L200 Double Cab has been developed as a ‘Sport Utility Truck’ that reaches new heights of reliability, go anywhere toughness, interior comfort and manoeuvrability.
Mitsubishi has sold more than 4.7 million L200 pickups in 150 countries since it debuted. Now in its fifth generation, the Mitsubishi L200 improves on its impressive history with bold changes to its exterior. The interior also gets substantial updates.
