Nissan Juke 2020 Model Unveiled with Details Shared
Nissan Juke will be arriving to challenge the CX-3, CH-R and the HRV very soon.
New Nissan JUKE redefines the standard of compact crossovers thanks to a strong personality, better performance and new technologies. Almost ten years after creating the compact crossover segment, comes the new generation of Nissan JUKE, with distinctive personality, to reinvent this segment once again.
Transformed on the inside as well, new Nissan JUKE is roomier for both passengers and their belongings, with rear-seat knee room increased by 5.8 cm, rear head room by 1.1 cm and a boot capacity of 422 litres – providing 20% more storage room.
A reimagined interior offers style and comfort boosted by improved driver positions, increased rear roominess and more user-friendly controls and storage. New soft-touch materials on the dashboard, door trim and foot-wells offer a premium feel, complemented by standard monoform sporty seats and optional Alcantara® or leather upholstery.
Offering a new level of personalisation, the all-new Tekna+ grade package ensures that customers can truly make JUKE their own. Multiple colour combinations for body, roof and interior upholstery are available – bringing out the urban, premium and sporty character of the JUKE. Exterior personalisation is also offered as standard on Tekna+, with customisable bumpers, side sills and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The sporty Nissan JUKE is designed foragility, but the all-new crossover has also grown up. Dimensions are now 4,210mm length; 1,595 mm height; and a width of 1,800 mm for better roominess whileremaining compact and lighter by 23 kg. Thanks to high strength steel, the newmodel features a more rigid platform that offers better stability, performanceand cornering capabilities, and new levels of confidence and control.
The Nissan JUKE is powered by an efficient 1.0-litre three-cylinder DIG-T turbocharged petrol engine with 117PS, giving drivers improved performance, fuel economy and refinement. Available with an engaging 6-speed manual or sporty 7-speed dual-clutch (DCT) paddle-shift transmission, and a driving mode selector (Eco, Standard, Sport), drivers can effortlessly match their driving style to any driving scenario for maximum fun on the road.
The JUKE is now loaded with Nissan’sinfotainment and driver assistance technology. Featuring Nissan IntelligentMobility technology, the new model is the most connected Nissan ever,empowering the driver with their own command centre.
Nissan Intelligent Mobility
Nissan’s advanced ProPILOT technology,which offers electronically assisted steering, acceleration and braking, willbe available on the JUKE for the first time. Designed for highway use insingle-lane traffic, ProPILOT makes long commutes and heavy traffic easier.
In addition, Nissan JUKE offers a fullpackage of safety technologies, including Intelligent Emergency Braking withPedestrian and Cyclist Recognition, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent LaneIntervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Blind Spot Intervention as a Nissanpremiere that is unique to the segment. Blind Spot Intervention warns thedriver when a car gets into its blind spot and brings JUKE back in the lane.
Connectivity, Infotainment, and BOSE®Personal® Plus
With the new NissanConnect infotainmentsystem, customers can use Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto to mirror theirfavourite smartphone apps on the 8-inch touch screen display. Drivers can alsoaccess TomTom Maps & Live Traffic or activate their on-board Wi-Fi Hotspotto allow passengers connecting their laptops or tablets.
The NissanConnect Services app is theperfect mobile companion, offering customers control over multiple aspects oftheir car. Nissan JUKE owners can now check the door-lock status of theirvehicle and lock or unlock their Nissan directly from their smartphone. Forincreased safety, drivers can also check their tyre pressure and oil levelbefore departing on a trip.
To make Nissan JUKE drivers’ lives eveneasier, Google Assistant compatibility gives them control over functionsincluding central locking, vehicle lights and sending destinations to the car’snavigation system by talking to their smart device.
Drivers and passengers can also play louderwith the Bose® Personal® Plus sound system. With eight powerful speakers –including two UltraNearfield units integrated into both front headrests –listeners can enjoy immersive music in ultra-clear definition.
