Proton Opens New 3S Centre in Kota Kinabalu

Proton has opened a new RM8 million 3S Centre in KK, Sabah. The new outlet will be operated by Harapan Maju and will feature 12 service bays, 6 service hoists and a huge 50-car parking lot.

Just like the rest of Proton’s modern 3S and 4S centres, this one has amenities such as WiFi, a coffee bar, laptop charging facilities and a kids play area along with a prayer room.

Harapan Maju Sdn Bhd (Harapan Maju) officially opened its new PROTON 3S centre here today. It is the second dealer outlet to be opened in Kota Kinabalu which carries the company’s new corporate identity. YB Phoong Jin Zhe, Minister of Youth and Sports Sabah and Cheng Seng Fook, Director of Marketing, PROTON jointly officiated the event.

This new outlet which cost RM 8 million to build has a built-up area of 1686 square meters. It consists of 12 service bays and 6 service hoists and the parking lot can accommodate up to 50 cars. Amenities such as free Wi-Fi, a coffee bar, laptop charging area, kids’ area as well as prayer room are available in the showroom.

Harapan Maju is a new PROTON dealer who sees great potential in the brand. Bucking the industry trend, Harapan Maju is lead by a team of women. They are involved in the daily operations of the business – overseeing sales, service and marketing.

Year-to-date, sales for East Malaysia increased by 22% compared to the same period last year whilst in Sabah, the increase is at 32%.
