Yong Peng (North) Interchange to be Closed for 29 Days

There will be a temporary closure at the Yong Peng (North) Interchange at KM99.30 on the North-South Expressway (NSE).

According to PLUS Malaysia Berhad, the closure is to facilitate pavement maintenance works that will be carried out for 29 days beginning 22 October (Tuesday) until 19 November 2019.

As such, highway customers from Johor Bahru heading towards Yong Peng, Batu Pahat or Segamat are advised to utilize the following alternative routes:-

  • Exit via Yong Peng (South) Toll Plaza at KM94.55 – use Federal Road to Yong Peng/Batu Pahat/Segamat
  • Exit via Ayer Hitam Toll Plaza at KM80.22 – use Federal Road to Batu Pahat/Segamat

However, entry lanes at the Yong Peng (North) Toll Plaza heading to Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur are still open and operating as usual.

Meanwhile, highway customers from Kuala Lumpur heading towards Yong Peng, Batu Pahat or Segamat can also exit the highway at the Yong Peng (North) Toll Plaza.

As such, highway users are advised to plan their journey, follow all traffic signages and instructions given by PLUS personnel on site.
