Kia Promise Extends Vehicle Warranties Until 30 June 2020
Kia Motors Corporation has announced the launch of Kia Promise, a global warranty extension program designed to support Kia customers whose movements may be limited because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kia Promise is available in 142 countries (including Malaysia) and covers all vehicles with original Kia warranties that expire between February 1 and April 30, 2020.
The program extends the warranty of all eligible vehicles to June 30, 2020. It is believed that the program would benefit more than 500,000 Kia customers worldwide.
With many countries and businesses taking precautionary measures to counteract the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kia Promise program aims to help customers who may be unable to visit a workshop during this time as well as those who are not able to bring their car in for servicing.
Kia Motors says it continues to closely monitor COVID-19 developments in communities where it does business. The company continuously strives to prevent infections at its facilities while working with federal, state and local authorities, complying with all standards set by those entities.
Here’s a message from the President of Kia Motors Corporation, Ho-Sung Song:
Dear valued Kia customer,
On behalf of the global Kia Motors family, I would like to express my sincere hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times brought on by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
