Subaru Forester and XV Now Come with Peace of Mind Package
From now until 31 December, Subaru customers who purchase a new Forester or XV will receive a ‘Peace of Mind’ package worth up to RM20,000 on top of a RM5,000 sales tax discount.
Additionally, TC Subaru is also offering a complimentary Subaru Eco Sterilising In-Cabin 3D Spray service worth RM1,500 and a five-year comprehensive warranty for every Forester and XV purchased.
Those who do not wish to travel to the showrooms can just call the nearest Subaru outlet and have a sales consultant deliver a Subaru vehicle to their doorsteps for a a test drive.
To proceed, all they have to do is to fill out the Online Booking form and pay a booking fee of RM188. The purchase will be finalised within five working days.

TC Subaru Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia, is pleased to introduce its Peace of Mind campaign this month. Customers who purchase a new Subaru will receive products, services and rebates worth up to RM20,000. In addition, customers will enjoy a sales tax exemption of up to RM5,000 when they purchase a new XV or Forester between 15 Jun to 31 Dec.
In line with Subaru’s focus on safety, the company has implemented stringent protocols at its showrooms and service centres for the well-being and peace of mind of customers when they visit, as well as for test drives.
Peace of Mind campaign for XV and Forester
As part of TC Subaru’s Peace of Mind campaign, Subaru customers and new car buyers in Malaysia looking to purchase a brand-new XV or Forester can do so from the comfort of their homes, if they do not wish to visit a Subaru showroom.
Upon request, the company’s sales consultants will bring the customer’s Subaru of choice to his or her home, or preferred location, for a test drive. This lets the customer experience the vehicle, drive, and sales consultants are equipped with hand sanitisers and face masks and shields.
To proceed with the purchase, all the customer has to do is to fill out the Online Booking form for XV or Forester to secure a booking fee payment of just RM188. A Subaru sales consultant will finalise the booking and registration for the selected Subaru model within five working days.
The Subaru XV, priced from RM117,788 (before sales tax exemption) is available in three variants; XV 2.0i, XV 2.0i-P and XV GT Edition 2.0i-P. Customers who purchase a new XV can opt for a six months zero-instalment plan as part of the Peace of Mind package.
The Subaru Forester is priced from RM149,788 (before sales tax exemption) and comes in three variants; Forester 2.0i-L, Forester 2.0i-S and Forester 2.0i-S Eyesight. Customers interested in a new Forester can trade-in their old vehicle through TC Subaru’s Special Trade-In Assist programme for added value.
Every new XV and Forester sold under the Peace of Mind campaign also is entitled to:
- A complimentary Subaru Eco Sterilising In-Cabin 3D Spray Service worth RM1,500 that removes up to 99% of harmful bacteria and viruses, and
- Five-year comprehensive warranty
Test Drive at Home
Aside from the XV and Forester, TC Subaru has introduced a ‘Test Drive at Home’ initiative for customers who do not wish to travel to the showrooms. Customers can contact their nearest Subaru showroom and schedule an appointment for a sales consultant to drive their Subaru of choice to their homes, or preferred locations, for a test drive
All vehicles are thoroughly sanitised before and after test drives, following a strict protocol to clean all touch points, including centre armrests, door handles, gear knobs, and so on. All sales consultants are equipped with face masks and sanitisers, and have their temperature checked upon coming to work and two more times during the day.
Keeping Customers Safe at Subaru Showrooms and Service Centres
The company has also put in place enhanced cleaning and safe distancing measures in all its work areas since it resumed operations in Malaysia. As part of TC Subaru’s stringent protocols, any staff who has a temperature or any respiratory symptoms will be turned away and asked to see a doctor. Similarly, customers with body temperatures of 37.5°C and above will not be able to enter the premises.
All visitors must also provide their contact details to facilitate contact tracing. Those visiting showrooms or service centres can download the MySejahtera app.
To ensure safe distancing, TC Subaru is also limiting the number of customers in its showrooms and service centres at any one time.
Markers are in place to establish physical distancing of at least one metre. During this period, refreshments will not be served.
Customers are also advised not to bring their children along. All vehicles will be thoroughly sanitised before and after each service job. Cashless payment options are encouraged.
As part of the Subaru’s commitment to safety, customers who visit any Subaru showroom in the country for a test drive will be given a complimentary bottle of Eco Sterilising Spray their hands or vehicles.
