Go On ‘Cuti-Cuti Malaysia’ with BHPetrol
The coronavirus pandemic has impacted all industries but it is fair to say that the tourism industry has taken the biggest hit mainly due to the enforcement of lockdowns and travel restrictions on an international scale.
Closer to home, things are looking a little brighter as the nation enters recovery phase under the RMCO which will last until August 31. In addition, the government’s decision to lift the interstate travel ban seems to have worked in favour of the local tourism industry.
However, more effort and support is needed to see the industry get back to where it was. With this in mind, BHPetrol has collaborated with Tourism Malaysia to launch the ‘Jom Cuti-Cuti Malaysia’ contest.
The contest, which runs from now until October 26, was launched by Datuk Musa Yusof, Director General of Tourism Malaysia and Mr. Leslie Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd (BHPetrol).
It is hoped that the contest will encourage Malaysians to travel across states and experience the true beauty of the country. This, in turn, will breathe new life into the domestic tourism industry and its players.
The contest offers 30 grand prizes in the form of domestic holiday packages worth RM4,000 each. Each package consists of a 3-day 2-night vacation for four persons to either Cherating, Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Seremban, RM1,000 pocket money as well as RM300 BHPetrol vouchers.
There will also be 30 consolation prizes, each consisting of RM 1,000 BHPetrol vouchers and 10,000 ePoints (worth RM 100).
On top of that, 30 weekly winners will stand a chance to win a 2-day 1-night holiday package at Royale Chulan hotels throughout popular destinations in Malaysia.
To participate in the ‘Jom Cut-Cuti Malaysia’ contest, all you have to do is spend a cumulative amount of RM30 on petrol or diesel products at any participating BHPetrol service stations or any shop items at the BHPetromart (excluding Touch n Go reload, ePay reload and car wash).
Customers who use the physical BHPetrol eCard will be entitled to one entry, while those who use the BHPetrol eCard mobile app will be entitled to three entries for every RM30 spend.
