Sime Darby Auto Performance Celebrates a Decade of Success
In 2010, Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) was appointed as the sole and exclusive importer of Porsche cars in Malaysia. Since then, the company has successfully launched 36 models and organised no less than 50 driving experience programmes and track days.
Apart from expanding its product range, SDAP has also strengthened its presence in the country with the opening of dealerships in Sungai Besi, Penang, Ara Damansara and Johor Bahru.
To commemorate its 10th anniversary, customers will receive a special edition Porsche Driver’s Selection polo tee when they place a booking for new or pre-owned Porsche models, or make a service appointment from the dealer webpage from now until 17 September 2020.
There will also be a creative contest on both its Facebook and Instagram platform, where customers stand a chance to win ‘911 GT edition’ 1:18 diecast models. All they have to do is take a selfie with a Porsche vehicle in the showroom and submit the photo with the most creative congratulatory wish to SDAP.

Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP) is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year since its establishment in Malaysia in 2010. The sole authorised importer and distributor of Porsche vehicles and parts in the country has enjoyed a decade-long history of bringing sportscar fascination and fueling the motorsports passion to enthusiasts in Malaysia with over 36 model launches, and 50 driving experience programmes and track days. SDAP has enjoyed its iconic moments throughout its timeless journey in these past ten years.

Starting out with a singular Porsche Centre in Glenmarie, the Porsche dealer network in Malaysia has since expanded a decade later. With the opening of Porsche Centre Sungai Besi, Porsche Centre Penang, the new flagship Porsche Centre Ara Damansara, as well as Porsche Centre Johor Bahru that is scheduled to commence operations next year.
Aiming to bring the total customer experience to a whole new level, SDAP is constantly offering more dynamic driving experiences, upgrading its current state-of-the art facilities to match its world-class Porsche products, and even further professionalisation of the Porsche Pre-Owned and Porsche Approved programmes.
