BHPetrol Now Accept ShopeePay Nationwide, RM4 Cashback Available
BHPetrol has started to accept ShopeePay at stations nationwide.
As the nation starts to recover following the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine, BHPetrol is moving towards digitalisation by accepting ShopeePay at stations nationwide. Any station that has facilities to accept eWallet will be able to use ShopeePay.
What’s more, from 1 March until 30 April, if you spend a minimum of RM40 using ShopeePay, you will receive RM4 cashback. That’s 10% cashback for this period! Definitely worth checking out.

Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd (BHPetrol) believes the Covid-19 vaccine arrival in Malaysia will help restore economic and travel activities, and thus resume petrol consumption nationwide.
The company says that while the Movement Control Order (MCO) impacted traffic to all petrol stations, it is confident that consumer sentiment will be more positive and the economy and especially tourism will pick up now that the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme has been launched.
Meanwhile, the company added it will now be accepting the ShopeePay mobile wallet as a mode of payment at BHPetrol service stations nationwide. The partnership with ShopeePay is another step in the right direction for the company, towards the digitalisation of payments.
BHPetrol Marketing General Manager Lawrence Chuah said “At BHPetrol, we are always looking at ways to improve our offers in providing the best quality fuels, exciting offers and convenience for our customers; and so partnering with e-wallets like ShopeePay is a great example of an exciting promotion that also provides convenience to the customers. This is not only a natural progression due to the Covid-19 situation, but also in line with the
Government’s agenda that was announced in MyDigital which aggressively pushes for the adoption of contactless payment, while more importantly satisfy the change of consumer behavior towards more options of digital payment.”
Chuah added that BHPetrol has always been heeding to customer needs and being ahead of the game is important. “It is our nature to be progressive and hence, it was not difficult for us to maneuver and ride the changing tides. Accepting ShopeePay as an added payment mode offers our consumers more choice. We will always go further to help serving and rewarding our customers better.”
Meanwhile, Head of ShopeePay Alain Yee said “As economic sectors slowly begin to reopen and Malaysians head out for business as usual, the demand for petrol is set to rise again. We have timed our partnership as such that it would be launched to best benefit Malaysians as this collaboration with BHPetrol will see ShopeePay users be rewarded with attractive cashback. This will also help put more money back into the pockets of BHPetrol customers.”
To mark the occasion, users of ShopeePay at any BHPetrol outlet with eWallet acceptance in the country will receive RM4 cashback with a minimum spend of RM40. Each customer can receive a total of three cashbacks during the campaign period from 1 March till 30 April. BHPetrol stations are powered by GHL Systems Bhd that provides the terminals to the petrol stations in order to accept ShopeePay across the country.
