Peugeot Owners In Malaysia Urged To Update Information
The Berjaya Auto Alliance are handling Peugeot in Malaysia now, but they need your information.
When Berjaya Auto Alliance became the new official distributors of Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia, one of the first things they set out on was to try and get the information of current Peugeot owners. Like any other car brand, maintaining communications with existing customers is extremely important because there may be important recall notices that pertain to safety or the continued operation of the vehicle.
Well, about 5 months have passed since they first announced they’d be taking over Peugeot distributorship in Malaysia. So far, they’ve collected information from some 16,000 existing customers, which is good progress. If you are a Peugeot owner or know of a Peugeot owner, here’s how to update Berjaya Auto Alliance with your information.
Step one, go to https://baasb.com.my/Peugeot/index.html
Step two, agree to the Personal Data Protection Act terms
Step three, prepare the following documents:
- Vehicle Registration Card
- Free Service Card / Booklet
- Warranty Card / Booklet
- Insurance (optional)
Sharing this information with them will be beneficial to you as a Peugeot owner. If there are any important recalls or product updates, Berjaya Auto Alliance will be able to contact you quickly and directly. Depending on the recall, you could be saving money (replacing a factory defective part for free instead of you paying for one yourself), OR you could be protecting yourself, your family or your belongings. While rare, most car brands have recalls that affect human life. Sometimes it’s a fire hazard, sometimes it’s an airbag inflator. Regardless, there’s no reason not to take this seriously.
