Mazda3 Liftback With JWIDE Bodykit Looks So Sexy
The Japanese is already pretty in stock form but the kit really kicks it up a notch
Compared to the ubiquitous Honda Civic and the dull Toyota Corolla, the Mazda3 stands out the most as it is the only contender in the dwindling C-segment that is fully imported from Japan and available in both sedan and hatchback forms.
Needless to say, the fact that it is not made in Melaka or Thailand means you will have to pay silly money to be able to own one but at least you’re getting arguably the best looking car of the bunch, with excellent performance and build quality to match.
Speaking of looks, the boot-less version of the Mazda3, which is called the Liftback, naturally looks much better than its sedan compatriot, particularly with regard to its stylish curved rear-end. I’m not saying the design is perfect but it is impossible not to fall in love with the car every time I take a glance at it.
Coincidently, the smooth lines and clean surfaces of the 3’s Kodo design language leave plenty of room for improvement. Those who wish to spice up their Liftbacks will not have to look far as there are plenty of talented local companies offering body kits for the model. One of them is JWIDE Bodykits, which is based in Kajang.
I recently stumbled upon a post on Facebook by the company, showing a “BP Jwide Design” kit designed specifically for the Mazda3 Liftback. The name might suggest that it is widebody kit but no bulging fenders are seen here. Perhaps that option is only available upon request.
Even without those, the kit does wonders in giving the hatchback just the right amount of aggressiveness. The package is rather simple and straightforward, comprising a protruding front lip spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser as well as a top and mid rear spoiler.
