Most Nissan Showrooms In Malaysia To Open By Monday EXCEPT…

These are the Nissan showrooms that are opening up post-FMCO.

In line with the recent government decision to allow the automotive industry to reopen with SOPs in place, Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has announced a list of Nissan showrooms that will reopen.

Essentially, all showrooms in the following states will be reopened by Monday:

  • Perlis
  • Penang
  • Perak
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • Putrajaya
  • Selangor
  • Negeri Sembilan
  • Pahang
  • Terengganu
  • Kelantan
  • Sabah
  • Sarawak
  • Labuan

In fact, most of the dealerships in these states should already be open by the time you read this. The ones that are only opening up on Monday are:

  • ETCM Taman Melati Utama, KL
  • ETCM Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
  • ETCM Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
  • Seremban Victory Credit Sdn Bhd, Negeri Sembilan
  • Edaran Nuri (Kota Baru) Sdn Bhd, Kelantan
  • Edaran Nuri (Kemaman) Sdn Bhd, Terengganu

As for dealerships in the states of Kedah, Malacca and Johor, the standing directive is to keep them closed for now.

Edaran Tan Chong says that only employees who are vaccinated and past their post-vaccine incubation period are allowed to resume work at the showrooms. Customers who enter showrooms must also prove that they are vaccinated with their digital certificates on the MySejahtera app.

In line with the latest Government announcement on National Recovery Plan (NRP), Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd
(ETCM) would like to notify customers that Nissan showrooms will resume
business operation beginning 20th August 2021 (Friday).

ETCM adhere to strict standard operating procedures (SOP) ensuring the safety of its employees and a peace-of-mind experience for customers at all times. Only vaccinated employees including post-vaccine incubation period are allowed to resume work in Nissan showrooms.

All employees will be wearing face mask, undergo frequent body temperature check, and regular disinfecting will be carried out at the showrooms including display and test drive vehicles.

Customers are also advised to comply with SOPs when entering the premises; ensure full vaccination including post-vaccine incubation period, provide proof of digital certificate on MySejahtera, body temperature below 37.5°C and wear face mask.

Other SOPs set by the Government remains active.
