MOTO GUZZI V7 STONE Arrives At DiDi Motorcycles Malaysia

This Guzzi V7 Stone is a celebration of the most beloved model from this iconic Italian motorcycle brand.

Before we share information on this new V7 let us look at back at the V7 III Rough which was launched in Malaysia in September 2018. At its launch this retro looking bike was priced at RM75,000 and to sweeten the demand, a limited number of units were available at a special introductory price of RM69,900. It was well received and snapped up by enthusiasts in a very short time.

Powering the V7 III Rough was a 744 cc V-twin engine equipped with light alloy pushrods and rockers that churns out 52hp at 6,200 rpm and 60 Nm at 4,900 rpm. Now with this latest V7 you get a 850 cc engine that produces 65hp.

This new V7 is faster, more comfortable, better equipped and refined, maintaining all the character and authenticity that every Moto Guzzi promises.

This latest V7 will also be available in a reduced-power version, ideal for new Guzzisti. It will also come standard with adjustable MGCT traction control (which can also be disabled).

Arriving at DiDi Resources is the V7 Stone which has strong minimalistic style. This V7 Stone is available in three satin-finish colour schemes: Nero Ruvido, Azzurro Ghiaccio and Arancione Rame. The colour variants of the V7 Special, the version closes to the classic and elegant spirit of the original model, are Blu Formale and Grigio Casual.

PRESS RELEASE: Meet the Moto Guzzi V7. This is one of the most celebrated and well-known Moto Guzzi models. This global fame is due to its ability to remain faithful to the expectations and reputation of a legendary brand like Moto Guzzi.

Since 1967, the year the first units were sold in Italy, the V7 has become a cornerstone of the product range, representative of the ultimate Italian motorcycle and standing out for its content and design, highly popular with a wide and varied public.

More than fifty years after the launch of the first unit, Moto Guzzi is proud to present the new V7, the most recent chapter of a unique history.

The revamping is so profound that Moto Guzzi opted to change the name too: V7, without the progressive numbering with Roman numerals that had characterised the previous models which is a testament to the almost total change from every point of view, even involving the chassis architecture and the engine.

You wouldn’t think so at first glance, and that is perhaps the highest compliment that could be paid the eagle brand designers and engineers in Mandello who have once again demonstrated their passion and skill in improving a legendary model like the V7, leaving its character and authenticity unaltered, values destined to last over time.

Two versions are available: alongside the Stone, the most minimalist model with modern content, is the Special which, as always, remains the most classic and elegant.
