In recent years, there have been few restored American cars coming into the used car market and this we think is because owners are mostly wealthy (road tax and insurance is not going to low) and they see little need to sell. Plus, we have many units in the ‘Royal’ garages around the country.
One very rare and inspiring muscle car is the Corvette and we have only seen a handful running around the country as rare as say a Ferrari F40 or Porsche 959 (both costing more than a few million Ringgit) the Corvette is a true American icon and one that will continue to be admired and wanted even a when electric cars rule our roads.

Some history shared. The Chevrolet Corvette C3 was produced from 1968 to 1982 and is the third generation of the Corvette sports car. The C2 engine and chassis continued, but the C3 brought in the vertical rear glass and t-top roof panels.
The rear glass was later changed to a fastback style. Crucial tweaks in the interior also helped to record a tremendous increase in Corvette sales.
The C3 is about as easy to own and maintain as any other sports car of its era. Reproduction parts are readily available through suppliers and the Classic Corvette Club UK forum is a good place to start for information and parts.
This particular Corvette comes with a Chevrolet V-8 5.7-liter engine and is backed by a 3-speed transmission with overdrive by Performance Unlimited which produces a useable 400hp.
The truly iconic American Muscle, was brought into Malaysia in 2010. This particular model has been well taken care by its owner. This car has completely had its engine rebuilt (less than 1000km ago) which means the new owner will have years of fun driving experience.
The entire front and rear suspension have been replaced. Complete rewiring of the dash original gauges and ignition has been done. All rubber replaced with new once including the windows. Brakes also have been completely rebuilt and comes with brand new calipers.
Comes with new aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans to keep the monstruous 5.7 L V-8 engine always cool.
