Mazda3 “Ignite Edition” Arrives In Malaysia
This is the 2022 Ignite Edition is fully imported from Japan.
Bermaz has just released information that a revised and more premium Mazda3 has arrived in all their showrooms. Taking a bite at the European rivals, Mazda Japan has given the Mazda3 upmarket features and a more premium look with their “Ignite Edition”.
The “Ignite Edition” was first shown when the latest CX-9 arrived in Malaysia. Then earlier this year Mazda Japan quietly released information of a new version for the popular Mazda CX-5 SUV. It came with a new colour and some upgraded features and carried the name ‘Field Journey’.
PRESS RELEASE: In pursuit of Mazda’s design philosophy, Car as Art, the Mazda3 adopts a matured Kodo design—which has received recognition around the world. Taking inspiration from Japanese aesthetics, Mazda adopted a “less is more” approach when designing the Mazda3 and stripped away superfluous elements from the car’s form. The result is a unique design that creates subtle undulations of light and shadows gliding over the car’s smooth body, crafting a natural and powerful expression of vitality.
Winner of the World Car Design of the Year in 2020 and the Red Dot Design: Best of the Best in 2019, the 2022 Mazda3 1.5L & 2.0L Lift-back and Sedan variants have been enhanced with connectivity improvements.
Both USBs located at the center console and armrest that enable users to connect to Apple Carplay™ and Android Auto™, which is accessible via the 8.8-inch touchscreen display.
The 2022 Mazda3 also receives additional upgrades to its technology and styling to help owners express their individuality. Termed as the new Mazda 3 “Ignite Edition”, it is only available on the 2.0 Liftback variant.
Exterior-wise, it features gloss black outer rear-view mirrors and 18-inch black metallic alloy wheels as standard. The interior features a Burgundy colored themed leather seating equipped with 360º View Monitor on its 8.8inch display.
The Mazda 3 “Ignite Edition” is equipped with the latest i-Activsense safety features, which include a Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), Driver Attention Alert (DAA) with Driver Monitoring and Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS).
Available colors include Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Jet Black, Snowflake White Pearl, Polymetal Gray, Deep Crystal Blue (Liftback Only) and newly added Platinum Quartz; making a total of 7 colors available for all variant.
The 2022 Mazda3 is CBU from Japan and is available with two engine choices; SKYACTIV-G 1.5L & 2.0L. The selling price starts from RM138,660.00, which is inclusive of the 50 percent Sales Tax Reduction (SST) on CBU models and is valid till 30th June 2022.
All new Mazda vehicles (Except for the Mazda BT-50) comes with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage of period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
