Mazda CX-30 Ignite Edition Has Arrived In Malaysian Showrooms

The 2022 Mazda CX-30 is now on sale with added features and priced from RM145,759

Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show three years ago, the Mazda CX-30 entered a brand new market segment for Mazda, positioning itself between the CX-3 and CX-5 it was an instant winner. In the later part of the year it was launched, 2019, BILD am SONNTAG, Germany’s biggest Sunday newspaper, and the European AUTO-BILD group awarded THE GOLDEN STEERNG WHEEL to the Mazda CX-30.

Following the launch of the All-New Mazda3, the Mazda CX-30 is the second model in the company’s next generation line-up and the second to feature the ground-breaking Skyactiv-X spark-controlled compression ignition engine.

The Mazda CX-30 has been updated for 2022, and two new “Ignite Edition” variants have been added to the line-up.

The 2022 Mazda CX-30 variants have been enhanced with connectivity improvements. Both USBs located the center console and armrest now enable users to connect to Apple Carplay™ and Android Auto™, which is accessible via the 8.8-inch touchscreen display.

Two new “Ignite Edition” variants have been added to the Mazda CX-30 lineup, which comes in both 2WD and AWD options. The two new variants feature auto-folding outer rear-view mirror in black and are fitted with 18” Alloy wheels in black. The interior of the “Ignite Edition” features Burgundy themed colored seats and black interior trim, as well as the 360º view monitor that provides an all-round view around the vehicle.

The Mazda CX-30, which was awarded 5-Star Euro NCAP in 2019, was one of the models to score the highest-ever mark in the adult occupancy category. The Mazda CX-30 also performed impressively in the other 3 categories – Child Occupant, Vulnerable Road User (pedestrian safety) and Safety Assist.

The rating is a result of three key factors: the adoption of the very latest Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture, which features a high-rigidity, impact-absorbing yet lightweight bodyshell; high standards of pedestrian protection performance; and a wide range of advanced i-Activsense safety technologies which help drivers identify potential risks and reduce the likelihood of damage or injury. 

The Mazda CX-30 retains all the Mazda i-Activsense features in the High spec variants and above. The Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), Driver Attention Alert (DAA) with Driver Monitoring and Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS) has also been added for the “Ignite Edition” as well.

The 2022 Mazda CX-30 variant is CBU from Japan. The color line-up includes Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Snowflake White Pearl, Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue, Polymetal Gray, and Platinum Quartz, making a total of 7 colors available.

The selling price for the 2022 Mazda CX-30 variant starts from RM145,759.00, which includes the 50 percent Sales Tax Reduction (SST) on CBU models and is valid till 30th June 2022.

All new Mazda vehicles (Except for the Mazda BT-50) comes with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage of period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
