This limited edition Hyundai Ioniq has an extended range too

Hyundai Motors UK has just released the pricing and specifications of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition, the first model in the Ioniq 6 range and second model in the Ioniq all-electric Hyundai line up.

Hyundai Ioniq

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition is built on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and is packed with customer-centric technology as well as a spacious interior. This car also has an extended WLTP range of up to 320 miles on a single charge.

Moreover, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition has a very low drag coefficient of only 0.21 which helps the car achieve its range. This is made possible by the design of the car which features active air flaps as well as wheel gap reducers in the front. The sloping shape of the car also adds to this.

On top of that, the cocoon shaped interior of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition also allows for more comfort and legroom while still having ample space for all sorts of practical features and hidden spaces. What’s more, the materials used in the interior are sustainable to facilitate a mindful, eco-friendly experience and lifestyle.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition is priced at £54,995 and is a limited edition model which includes a different interior and exterior design inspired by the Prophecy EV Concept from the original Ioniq 6. This includes a matte black finish to the 20-inch wheels as well as glossy black mirror caps.

Additionally, customers can select between a range of different body colours such as Biophilic Blue Pearl, Serenity White Pearl, Nocturne Grey Metallic and Gravity Gold Matte. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition will also be the first model to feature the new design of the updated Hyundai “H” emblem.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition will also be made available in two separate trim levels, namely Premium and Ultimate and while we know the price of the premium model, prices and specifications for the ultimate model will be announced later.

Furthermore, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition runs on a 77.4kWh battery which powers its all-wheel-drive powertrain giving the car 325Ps of power and 605Nm of torque. The car’s E-GMP platform also has an 800v charging system and is compatible with a 350kW ultra-fast charger which includes a battery heating system.

With all the sustainability factors like the use of eco-friendly materials and streamlined design, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition continues the brand’s vision for sustainability and a greener future. This future is one the UK will enjoy now and hopefully soon after, the world.
