New Volvo Cars Showroom Opened In Setia Alam Under Swedish Auto
A new Volvo Car 3S Centre opens up in Setia Alam under Sime Darby Swedish Auto.
Sime Darby Swedish Auto, one of Malaysia’s leading automotive retail groups, has recently marked a milestone by opening its second Volvo dealership in Malaysia. This new facility is located in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, and offers end-to-end services to customers as a 3S Centre (Sales, Service, Body & Paint Repair). The new dealership spans across 23,000 square feet of land and features Volvo’s global showroom and service standards.
Volvo Car Malaysia’s latest facility will provide Malaysians with a world-class showroom that embodies Volvo’s Scandinavian ideals and values. The showroom is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including four 22kW AC charging bays on the premises, and offers a unique customer experience that is based on a living room concept decorated with a Scandinavian-inspired design that is signature to the Volvo brand. The installation of solar energy will also be taking place in the near future.
Charles Frump, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia, stated that the expansion of the network with this showroom enables more customers in Selangor to venture into a world of sustainable and safe driving as they move further into their electrification journey. Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Retail and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Malaysia, Hong Kong & Macau, expressed his pleasure in bringing Malaysians the best in Swedish design and engineering with the opening of this latest Volvo dealership. The new dealership is a 3S Centre and a Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre (VCDR), offering a full suite of end-to-end sales and aftersales services, all under one roof. Sime Darby’s Volvo Car dealership in Bukit Jelutong is also a VCDR Centre.
The new dealership offers customers the accessibility to fully immerse themselves in the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE), which is designed to embody the brand’s Scandinavian ideals and values. The VRE offers a unique customer experience with a space based on a living room concept decorated with a Scandinavian-inspired design that is signature to the Volvo brand. Customers can enjoy a wide range of services, including test drives, product demonstrations, and personalized vehicle configuration.
