Nissan’s President Came To Petaling Jaya To Officiate New Nissan Flagship Store
The New Nissan Flagship Store in Petaling Jaya was officiated today by Nissan’s President and CEO, Makoto Uchida!
Nissan are readying themselves for a big push in South East Asia, it would seem. None other than the President and CEO of the Nissan Motor Corporation, Makoto Uchida was down in Petaling Jaya today to officiate Edaran Tan Chong Motor’s first-ever Nissan Flagship Store.
This 3S centre will serve as the brand’s automotive retail and after sales beacon in Malaysia and brings in the latest Nissan Retail Concept corporate identity, known as ‘NRC-NEXT’.
With an investment of RM4 million, the upgraded Nissan 3S Flagship Store in PJ features a new eye-catching façade with the new Nissan logo. It takes up 43,000 square feet and can be identified from afar by the signature red tablet with the Nissan logo mounted high above the facility, ‘highway pole-style’.
The dealership area can display up to eight models in a conducive and relaxed environment. ETCM is doubling down on the ‘personal touch’ in an age of ever increasing online sales in the automotive industry as they understand the importance of customer engagement.
There are two new vehicle delivery bays, three EV charging stations, a airy customer reception area with high-speed WiFi, private discussion rooms, a kids’ room and a service concierge.
The service area has 25 general service bays equipped with hoists, dedicated bays for air-conditioning and wheel alignment service. There are also special rooms for EV repairs and for vehicles that require extensive repair work.
ETCM estimates that up to 100 vehicles can be serviced per day thanks to its experienced 25-member after sales team. Every technician here is Nissan-certified and there is a warehouse full of Nissan Genuine Parts for total customer peace-of-mind.

On Sundays and Public Holidays, it’s open from 10am to 5pm. The service centre’s opening hours are 7.30am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and 8.30am to 5pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
