Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, is launching in Malaysia soon and can already be booked today
Chery Malaysia has officially previewed their second vehicle to be introduced in Malaysia this year, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, and the brand describes this SUV as the ultimate companion for every Malaysian on the road. Having driven it before the brand launched officially in Malaysia, I have to agree. Let’s take a look at it.
Revered as the ‘guardian of families,’ the Chery Tiggo series embodies safety, reliability, and a seamless driving experience. This five-seater SUV is compact and durable, offering advanced safety features and efficient performance, ensuring a delightful journey for both driver and passengers alike.
Moreover, here are a few key highlights of the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro that are confirmed. First and foremost, the Tiggo 7 boasts a robust 1.6L Turbocharged engine, generating an impressive 197hp and 290Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed DCT ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride for all occupants without the big SUV feeling underpowered at any time.
As for connectivity the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro sets itself apart from the traditional infotainment systems with a sleek 24.6-inch Integrated Dual Screen with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allowing drivers to seamlessly integrate their compatible smartphones with the car’s infotainment system without the need for a physical connection.
On top of that, safety is the utmost priority for the Tiggo 7 Pro which is equipped with the latest generation of the Advanced Driver Assistance System 2.5 (ADAS 2.5) system which includes Front Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Multi Collision Brake (MCB) Traffic Jam Assistant (TJA), Door Open Warning (DOW) Rear Cross Traffic Braking (RCTB) and much more.
The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro measures 4,513mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,670mm, providing ample space for passengers and cargo alike. The generous 475L to 1672L boot capacity also ensures you have plenty of room for all your belongings. The SUV also stands at a height of 1,696mm with a ground clearance of 175mm, and a width of 1,862mm,
The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro will be offered in four colours in Malaysia, namely Bloodstone Red with Black Roof, Carbon Black, Vanilla Blue and Khaki White with Black Roof with an estimated price of below RM130,000 and starting 25 March 2024, customers can order the Tiggo 7 Pro, which will be available for viewing at all Chery showrooms nationwide from April 2024 onwards.
