JKR Shares A PSA For The Public To Consider While Driving

JKR shared this PSA regarding regularly scheduled road maintenance work

The Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) has just shared a PSA for the public to take into account while driving on the roads today. This PSA is meant to help the public plan their routes better and avoid the roads that are being maintained right now so they can be on time to wherever they need to go.

The PSA reads, “Admin would like to invite you to read the info that admin would like to share which is the topic of road maintenance.”

Moreover, the PSA then continues, “There are several categories of road maintenance which are: Current or routine maintenance Periodical maintenance Emergency Maintenance For today admin share first regarding current maintenance or routine.”

The PSA then reads, “this is the maintenance work we do routinely according to the monitoring work that is done. You guys don’t get angry on social media if you see a road with holes, broken roads or anything related to road damage.”

On top of that, the PSA continues, “Sometimes admin can’t finish complaints when there’s someone complaining angrily, for example “the roads here are all broken.” – where is this guys.” Well, at least the JKR’s social media team is engaging and knows how to let the public know what to do in a “funny” way.

“The roads in Kajang are all holes” – Kajang besar (the PSA is informing the public that Kajang is a big place) guys…  Admin would like to invite you to download the MyJalan application.” The PSA continued.

The PSA concludes with, “It’s free of charge. File a complaint through the app, when the complaint is complete, the responsible party can take appropriate action. We are waiting for a response from all of you. Admin wants to invite us to take care of our roads together.”

We all want our roads to be better and the JKR is doing their best to achieve this bit by bit so be sure to help JKR by pointing out the locations where roads need work done on them.
