Suzuki Unveils Two New Jimny Variants Exclusively For Malaysian Market
Suzuki unveiled the new Jimny Rainforest and Black Edition for Malaysia only
Naza Eastern Motors Sdn. Bhd. recently unveiled two highly anticipated variants of the iconic Suzuki Jimny – the Rainforest and the Black Edition. These special editions are poised to ignite fresh interest in Suzuki’s beloved Jimny and promise an exhilarating ownership experience for customers.
To mark this momentous occasion, Naza Eastern Motors hosted a memorable Jimny Lifestyle Drive with more than 30 Jimny owners. The convoy drive was flagged-off by Naza Automotive Group Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Rizal Jailan at Suzuki Cars showroom in Petaling Jaya.
Moreover, Rizal said, “The launch of the Jimny Rainforest and Black Edition emphasises our strategic focus on profitable niche models that is in line with the automotive industries trends.”
“We have seen the SUV market in Malaysia growing over the last 10 years, so our focus remains with the existing models – the iconic Jimny and the Swift Sport, as they continue to resonate strongly with our customers.” He added.
Priced at RM168,900 and RM171,900 (before insurance) respectively, the unveiling of the Jimny Rainforest Edition and Black Edition was presented by Naza Eastern Motors’ COO, Mohamad Irwan Shahril. Both variants featured distinctive design elements with trims and accessories intended specifically for the Malaysian market.
Powered by the Suzuki 1.5L engine making 101hp, this efficient drivetrain is paired with ALLGRIP PRO 4WD System, 4 Speed low range transfer gear and LSD Traction Control braking system providing power and safety giving drivers control and confidence.
On top of that, the Rainforest is equipped with a multi-roof rack, camouflage-finished front grill, front and rear mud flap, and body decal, while the interior will entice every off-road junkie to escape the city. The interior is equipped with matching camouflage garnish fitted at the loading edge, the inner back door, the rear-view mirror, audio garnish bumper, inside door handle cover, assistant grip cover, carpet floor mat, and rear quarter box.
Meanwhile, the Black Edition exterior will also get the multi-roof rack, carbon finish spare tyre cover with a matching carbon finish front grill, while the interior is equipped with stylish audio garnish bumper, inside door handle cover, assistant grip cover and carpet floor mat.
There is a free upgrade to 2 tone Nappa Leather seats for the Black Edition. Door Visor and mud flap will be included on both models. Over 30 enthusiastic Jimny owners joined Jimny Lifestyle Drive exemplifying Naza Eastern’s unwavering commitment to customer delight and engagement.
