Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has unveiled the latest iteration of the iconic Aston Martin Vantage, the quintessential driver’s sports car. This new Vantage is the fastest and most powerful production Vantage in the model’s illustrious 74-year history.
The Vantage Nameplate’s Legendary Heritage
The Vantage name dates back to 1950 when it was first used for a high-performance engine package for the legendary DB2 race car. In 1964, it became an official model name with the Vantage-badged DB5. The first standalone Vantage model launched in the early 1970s, cementing the nameplate’s prominent role in Aston Martin’s lineup.
Throughout the decades, the Vantage has built a reputation as one of the most iconic sports cars, achieving incredible success in endurance racing events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Powered by a heavily revised 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the new Vantage generates a mighty 665 PS and an immense 800 Nm of torque. These staggering output figures represent a 30% increase in horsepower and 15% more torque compared to its predecessor.
Mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, the new Vantage rockets from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and can reach a breathtaking top speed of 325 km/h. A new launch control system optimizes acceleration from a standing start.

The new Vantage rides on Aston Martin’s latest bonded aluminum chassis with increased torsional rigidity for sharper handling dynamics. Retuned adaptive dampers, a quicker steering rack, and bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S tires work together to deliver incredibly precise and tactile feedback.
Drivers can dial in their preferred level of traction control intervention or switch it off for a pure, unfiltered driving experience. The intelligent electronic differential and torque vectoring ensure optimal grip in all situations.
