Tissot Launches Five New Seastar 40mm Powermatic 80 Watches
Looking for a sporty and water-resistant Swiss watch? Tissot has just expanded its iconic Seastar collection with five new automatic models featuring the Powermatic 80 movement.
Subtle Design Updates
While staying true to the Seastar’s classic styling, these new references incorporate some subtle refinements. The cases now feature notched edges for a sleeker, more sophisticated profile. Water resistance is an impressive 300m/1000ft, and visibility is enhanced by Super-LumiNova hands and indices.
The dials have a cool vertically brushed finish that fades from light to dark gray or blue towards the edges, creating a unique gradient effect. Complementing the look are uni-directional bezels with colored mineral glass inserts.
Versatile Collection
The collection offers a range of styles from sporty to dressier. Two versions come in a straightforward stainless steel case and bracelet combination, with your choice of a blue or gray dial.
For a two-tone look, there’s a model with a yellow gold-PVD bezel paired with a two-tone steel and gold-PVD bracelet.
Rounding out the lineup are two blackout versions with black PVD cases. One features a black tropic rubber strap and blue dial, while the other pairs a full black steel bracelet with a gray dial.
All models are equipped with interchangeable strap systems, allowing you to easily swap between bracelets and straps for the perfect fit for any occasion.
Powermatic 80 Movement
Powering these new Seastar watches is the Powermatic 80 automatic movement with an impressive 80-hour power reserve. It’s also equipped with a Nivachron balance spring for excellent antimagnetic properties and accuracy.
