Electric Zeekr 009 MPV arrived in Malaysia just a few months ago
Two models were introduced in Malaysia. The first being the Zeekr 009 luxury people mover (MPV) which was priced from RM349,800 and looking to take away some of the customers from UMW Toyota who were about to buy a brand new Toyota Alphard.
The large and luxurious Zeekr 009 MPV pricing starts at RM349,800 for the 7-seater configuration, with the 6-seater priced slightly higher at RM359,800 (less seats but costs more). The petrol powered Toyota Alphard is priced at RM538k (has full import duties included and Zeekr has NO import duties as it is an electric vehicle).
Thanks to its twin-motor setup that has a whopping 603 hp and 693 Nm of torque on tap, the Zeekr 009’s quoted 4.5 second 0-100 km/h time will naturally see it as being one of the fastest minivans around. This upmarket MPV will be one of the longest-range EVs in Malaysia too, courtesy of its absolutely honking 116 kWh battery pack apparently capable of going a WLTP-claimed 582 km on a single charge.
And on the topic of charging meanwhile, the Zeekr 009 currently touts a 150 kW DC charging capability. This in turn equates for a 10% to 80% top up in just 30 minutes, if connected to an appropriate charger.

This Zeekr 009 has driver and front passenger seats equipped with 12-way adjustments memory seats, massage function and ventilation. The VIPs in the second row can in turn look forward to luxuriating in their Sofaro First Class Aeronautic seats, which both have a ‘1.1-meter Ultra Long Electric Slide Rail’ for adjustments, and comes featuring independent wide armrests with seat adjustment controls, adjustable leg rests, seat ventilation, massage and memory functions, as well as third row one-button electric easy entry and exit function.

Plus, this 009 MPV also comes standard with a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety aids. Its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) incorporates Lane Centering Control (LCC); Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC); Collision Mitigation Support Front (CMSF); Collision Mitigation Support Rear (CMSR); Lane Keeping System; Blind Spot Detection (BSD); Door Open Warning (DOW); Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR); Driver Performance Monitor (DPM); Speeding Reminder Warning; and Parking Emergency Brake.
